Right Way Driver Education

Right Way Driver Education, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Barry and Stacia Bissell with a desire to provide driver education services to the community. With Barry's experience in driver education since 1989 and Stacia's background in education, they created a driving school that offers a range of services to meet the needs of teen and adult drivers in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding areas.

At Right Way Driver Education, we are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to become safe and confident drivers. Our team of certified instructors is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment, whether in the classroom or behind the wheel.

Driver Education Services

At Right Way Driver Education, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our students, including:

• Teen Parent-Assisted Driver Ed Program: This program allows parents to be involved in their teen's driver education by directing up to five of the six state-required driving lessons. The final lesson must be taught by one of our certified driver ed instructors.
• Teen Final Only Driving Package: In this package, parents assist with five out of six driving lessons, and Right Way teaches the final lesson.
• Rehabilitation and Disability Driving Services: We offer an array of driving services to the rehabilitation and persons-with-disability communities. We are equipped with hand-control systems and are willing to travel to our clients.
• Online Driver Ed Course: Our state-required 30-hour course can be completed from the comfort of the student's home and at their convenience. The course must be completed within 10-90 days from the day it begins.
• Driver Ed Classes: We offer driver ed classes in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding areas. Our classes are designed to meet the needs of our students, and we offer flexible scheduling options.
