Inadequate Equipment and Disrespectful Instructors
The reviews highlighted several issues with the Great Lakes Truck Driving School, including outdated and poorly maintained equipment, as well as disrespectful and rude instructors. Author Myasia Wilcox specifically mentioned the state examiner, Sterling, as being uncooperative and having a negative attitude.
Inconsistent Instructors and Large Class Sizes
Some reviewers mentioned inconsistent instructors, with some being helpful and others being unresponsive. Author Laticia Jones noted that the class size was too large, with 26 students, making it difficult for instructors to provide individualized attention. She also questioned the motivation behind accepting so many students when the school couldn't provide adequate resources.
