At Courtesy Driving School, we take pride in being Michigan's largest and most reliable driving school, with over 750,000 trained safe drivers since 1970. Our family-owned and operated business has been successfully teaching students for over 50 years. Our mission is to provide strong and thorough driver's education instruction with our professionally developed curriculum.
As a trusted driving school, we are dedicated to teaching our students the rules of the road, while giving them personal and proper road skill training. Our instructors are certified in Driver's Education by the State of Michigan and undergo FBI background checks and physical exams. We employ experienced and caring instructors who provide personal attention and confidence to our students to develop good safe driving techniques.
Our Services
At Courtesy Driving School, we offer a range of services to cater to our students' needs. Our programs are designed to help students of all ages learn and improve their driving skills.
- Private Lessons: Our private lessons specialize in teaching nervous adults and teens who hold a current permit. Our experienced instructors provide personalized coaching and feedback to help students overcome their driving anxieties.
- Auto Road Testing: We offer automobile road testing at 15 locations across Michigan. Our tests are designed to assess a student's driving skills and preparedness for the road.
- Motorcycle Road Testing: Our motorcycle road testing program is designed to test a student's riding skills and knowledge of motorcycle safety.
- Basic Driver Improvement Course: This course is designed to help students mask points associated with traffic violations on their driving record. Our instructors provide guidance and coaching to help students improve their driving skills and avoid future violations.
- Professional Development: Our professional development program is designed to keep driver's education instructors certified and updated on the latest driving techniques and technologies. This program ensures that our instructors continue to provide the highest level of instruction to our students.
