Our Team

Our instructors are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also genuinely care about their students. Each member of our team brings unique strengths and qualifications to the table, and we're proud to have them working with us. Brent Tinder, our owner and behind-the-wheel instructor, has over 13 years of experience teaching driver's education. Cindy Glaze, our classroom and behind-the-wheel instructor, has three years of experience with Five Star and has been a physical education teacher for several years. Lynn McCoy, our classroom instructor and office manager, has been with Five Star for several years and has a background in elementary education. Sandy McMillan, our classroom and behind-the-wheel instructor, has 15 years of experience teaching driver's education and is also an instructional assistant with Delaware Community Schools. Steve Reed, our behind-the-wheel instructor, is a retired educator with a wealth of experience teaching and supervising in various positions.

Services

We offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each student. Our 30-hour driver's education course is available both online and in-person, and includes six one-hour drives with our experienced instructors. We also provide a comprehensive review course to help students prepare for the road test, as well as flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy families. And, as an added convenience, our online scheduling service allows students and parents to manage driving schedules and receive automatic reminders, making it easy to stay on track.
