Green Light Driving School, established in 2007, fosters safe, confident drivers through personalized instruction and positive reinforcement. We empower individuals of all ages to navigate their journeys with knowledge, skill, and a commitment to responsible driving.

Owned and operated by Mike and Shari Jones, Green Light Driving School is a passionate team of experienced instructors certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia. We come from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to fostering responsible and skilled drivers through patient, individualized instruction.

1. Teen Behind-the-Wheel Instruction

• Designed to meet Virginia state requirements for obtaining a driver's license.
• Seven mandatory sessions, each 100 minutes long, including 50 minutes of driving and 50 minutes of observation.
• The seventh session culminates in the official DMV driving test.

2. Online Driver Education

• Comprehensive 30-hour program covering essential driving principles and road safety.
• Flexible online format allows you to learn at your own pace and convenience.
• Interactive lessons and quizzes ensure engaging and effective learning.

3. Adult Driving Lessons

• Customized lessons tailored to adults of all ages and experience levels.
• Learn or refine your driving skills in a safe and supportive environment.
• Receive personalized feedback and guidance from certified instructors.
