Our Courses

At Street Smarts, we offer a comprehensive driver education program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on driving practice in a variety of settings. Our courses are designed to prepare students for the road by providing extensive highway and city driving experience, parking skills, knowledgeable guest speakers, and gravel road driving experience. We use PowerPoint instruction and offer our courses year-round to accommodate students' schedules.

We offer a variety of courses to suit your needs, including classes for teenagers, adults, and seniors.

For Teenagers

Our teenage driver education program is designed to help young drivers develop the skills and confidence they need to become safe and responsible drivers. We require an Iowa instruction permit to sign up and take our course, which can be obtained once the student is at least 14 years old. Our courses combine classroom instruction with hands-on driving practice to provide a well-rounded education.

For Adults

Our adult driver education program is designed to help adults of all ages develop the skills and confidence they need to become safe and responsible drivers. Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher, we can help you develop the skills you need to succeed on the road.

For Seniors

Our senior driver education program is designed to help older drivers maintain their driving skills and stay safe on the road. Our courses cover topics such as changes in vision and hearing, medication use, and driving strategies to compensate for age-related changes.
